Marina di Andrano: rubber dinghy excursion to the Castro caves

This route certainly represents one of the most evocative and beaten paths of Salento. The charm of the Grotte di Castro, set in a marvelous setting, has for years attracted a large number of visitors from all over the world.
As soon as we pass Punta Mucurune, the imposing promontory that shelters the town of Castro from the strong northern winds, we see the Blue Grotto; this looks like a gloomy cave in the eyes of those who see it from the outside, to then reveal the celestial blue of its waters inside.
Continuing we find the Grotta Palombara, meeting place and home of numerous birds from which it takes its name.
Until arriving at the very famous Zinzulusa Cave, which with its majesty and naturalistic richness, stands out as the centerpiece of this tour!
Not only caves in this fantastic journey, but we will also visit the wild inlet of Acquaviva and the Bay of Castro with turquoise water, which will host us for refreshing bath breaks.
