The many caves, the spectacular gorges and blades, are the most unique natural beauty of the landscape polignanese, the best known are: Lama Monachile, the cave of the Guardian, Cave of the Swallows, the Doves and Thieves. Among all the "Grotta Ardito" stands out for its exceptional beauty. The most impressive, considered the "queen", is the Palazzese cave. There are about forty sea caves, many of which can be visited by boat.
The coast of Polignano a Mare is also dotted with coves characteristics of pebbles, pebbles very small and the rocks they gently recline in the crystal waters of our coast.
